I own an RXZ 1999 5 speed. My bike is heavily ported and bolted with chamber and carbon fiber end can. Previous my bike did 130km h. After putting K&N filter RC-1060, preformance increase, powerband increase. At higher revs it sounds awesome!! Now I am doing 140+ km h on my bike.

Hi,
I am running a K&N RC1060 on my Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme, 150cc, single cylinder, sohc, carbuoretted engine for the past 500kms. I installed the filter after the vehicle had done 40,000kms in 2 years. The filter has no doubt given a boost in the top, middle & end range power, but also sounds great as well. I just love the roaring sound. It's intoxicating.

Hi All,
I have a Bajaj Pulsar 150, old model. It used to give me awesome pickup and mileage at the same time when it was new. The bike got older and mileage reduced, so I installed RC-1060 Air filter from K&N. The pick up of my bike became amazing and I can really feel the back thrust. The bike gives now while accelerating. Mileage increased too. Good work K&N. Now I will look up for more K&N accessories for my bike.

I had never used K&N or others, but I had my own ideas about a high power air filter. I tested first in my 2 stroke bike, a Yamaha RX 135. It is really amazing now. Speed for 0 to 60 is 4.6 seconds and is also excellent in fuel efficiency.

I recently installed a Universal cone filter in my 2007, 796cc Suzuki Alto (MPFI, Euro III) that has done about 26000Km. This thing really works. The cats roaring like a beast! Sounds like I've installed headers!! Acceleration has become much, much quicker. Cruising on the highway is silky smooth. But put your foot down and the beast is back again. On lifting my foot off on the accelerator pedal the noise from the crankcase breather back to the air intake is clearly audible now, making me feel like I'm in The Fast And The Furious!! Mileage has definately gone up. Now I refuel twice a week, where as needed to refuel thrice a week earlier, for the same commute. And what shocked me was when I did my emission (Same machine, same fuel, same car), the readings showed that CO levels halved from 0.63 to 0.36 %vol now and HC levels reduced by about 58ppm.
Looking forward to some headers and a few confidential gimmics!

My bike is a single cylinder air cooled Apache RTR 160. I got your RC-1060 air filter fixed on the carb with a mild rejetting job. Now the bike has stunning performance with 1.4hp extra power as measured on the dyno. Awesome, truly amazing to see the bike snort and swallow huge gobs of clean air!!!!

My used Honda City 1.5 exi(2000) felt dead and almost felt like I was driving with the parking brake on,especially while the aircon was turned on. There was late throttle response and a conspicuous lack in power. It's been a year now since fitting a cartridge type K&N filter and the car runs as if it were tuned by MUGEN HONDA!!!
One complaint though is that the oil and cleaning kits are not available with the dealers in Pune MH India and my filter did not come with the K&N stickers (I love them).

I had fitted R-1060 conical universal filter in my Honda Unicorn, which had already clocked 52000 kilometers. Before fitting the filter, it was returning me an economy of 52 kilometers to a liter of petrol.
I purchased it on 19th Feb 09 from Hardeep at GP Road and was first surprised to see how simple it was to fit. The existing air filter was untouched and the air duct connecting it and the carburetor was removed off. I touched the inside of the duct and was shocked to see grains of sand that had passed through the air filter (I am not sure how it is going to change with K&N). Fitting was done in seconds and my first impression on starting the engine was not good. The sound had changed. There is a roar as if the exhaust had got punctured. The roar was not as loud as damaged exhaust, but it sounded like so. I still do not like the sound :-(
The moment I started to ride, I experienced an apparent increase in torque developed by the engine. Within few meters of driving and gear changes, I could notice that I can shift gears early (I was now able to shift to 5th gear at approx 2000 RPM, which was achieved only at approx 2200 RPM). This gave a hope to improve the fuel economy and there by will justify the cost. I calculated that an even an increase of one kilometer per liter will pay me back with in a month.
I had already had half a tank of fuel and hence I was forced to wait till I hit reserve. I was taken back to see my Unicorn gave me an economy of 55.8 kilometers per liter.
The bike is due to its service and the fuel economy test was done with half tank of fuel consumed with stock air filter. So, with all these, I guess I can obtain more economy.
Readjusting the calculations, now I can take my money back in just 400kms of riding!
I am truly impressed with its performance (but bit sad with the engine note - I would really like the old purr of the engine) and regret my ignorance of driving without it for 52000 kilometers. Again a math surprised me. If I had fitted it on day one (as it does not affect warranty - as claimed by K&N) I would have saved Rs.5000 just on fuel!
It is a must and I would recommend for any hesitant buyer.

Hi,
I recently got my 13 year Suzuki Alto (Maruti 800) fitted with a conical K&N Air filter. The moment I fitted the filter I found a sudden increase in torque in all the gears. I found myself wanting to upshift as soon as possible and the car just lunges forward without hesitation.
I am expecting a increase in mileage too due to lower gear changes and better torque I find my cruising steadily in top gear without experiencing loss of power.
To describe it in a few words K&N filters ROCK

Words cannot properly describe as to how good this product is.... and how much it did to me........ I own a Hero Honda Karizma... the bike in stock condition only has got good pick up......... after intalling a K&N with some slight jetting.......... the bike is just killer..... pick up has increased a lot and it also sounds good at higher RPMs...... simply to say.... A K&N can do more than what you want with the filtrations levels critical...... it's worth all the money.........

I recently purchased a 57i induction kit for my Swift 1.3L petrol. The result was too good. Now I can easily pass 140 in an ease. It also increases the mileage by 2 kms. Before I purchased this I really wanted to buy (another brand) air filters, but now I dont regret what I did. It's an added fun factor to my car. Thnx K&N

I own a Tata sedan (Indigo LX TDi, October 2005, 70000kms)
After 65000+ kms, I found the car had given me a drop in performance - power and fuel efficiency.
Kumar, from Methods Automotive, is a friend who I have relied on for suggestions on performance tuning for my car. He helped me install your OEM Stock Replacement Filter.
The mileage in city has gone up from 14kmpl to 17kmpl, and on highways from 18kmpl to 24kmpl.

I have a Honda Dio 2008 105cc 6.5bhp. When I installed k&n filters it rocked. It gave me quick pickup and mileage too so I must say that you must give a try to your vehicle. With a k&n filter its like magic when it's installed compared to any other filters that I have known. Now my bike accelerates with a smooth pickup. I am so happy to have a k&n filter installed in my bike.

Thank you K&N. I have a Tata Indica Xeta. It's a little lazy car so I got the header changed. Still I was losing horsepower. I have been a big fan of K&N. My bike and my old car had it. I checked in the market and did not find a filter that fits the need. So I got a universal filter shiped to India from the U.S. Now my car gets a lot of cool air, the motor doesn't get too heated up, and my header sounds like heaven to me. I bought a conical filter for my Honda CBF-150 (Unicorn) . The result is just exemplary, the midrange torque's got a real boost and the fuel efficiency has picked up by 9 Kilometers per Liter. That's more than what I paid for. So far I have recommended the filter to 8 of my friends and all of them are very much satisfied with the performance of their vehicle fitted with K & N filters.

Man o Man u guys must be personally thanked and rewarded, me and my family currently use more then 10 K&N air filters, the difference is huge, the performance and throttle response is crisp and punchy without sacrificing mileage instead it has increased by say 12% to 18%. Once I install a K&N product I forget about it as I know it will take utmost care of my machine . Till now I have purchased K&N R-1060, RU-3750, R-1100, RC-1060, K&N Oil Filter and the list just goes on man. Thaaaaaanx a lot guys and the most significant thing is afterall being imported to our country with all duties and all still the purchase price is reasonable thaaanx again ...

I have replaced my regular paper filter with a K&N factory replacement filter in my 1.2L Palio NV Sport 2004.
The results are worth the effort. Some of the differences I see are:
1. Lesser engine vibration specially when trying to lift from lighter gear (2 or 3) on flyovers.
2. Car engine doesn't show any sign of AC getting started.
3. Acceleration is extremely smoother than before.
4. Pickup is marginally better.
5. Ignition is more crisp than before.
6. Can't comment on mileage since I had only two gas-fills after the replacement.

I always knew you guys made good filters, but me being more of a biker in India with a small 150 Ceecer, I never thought it would be of much help on my machine. Until I got frustrated of considering it and went ahead and bought myself one.
Waahoo! It really did it. I could feel the motor gain revs very easily. Since the single cylinder isn't one that can be exploited easily, there was no outstanding difference as such, but there most definitely was a difference, one that made me go he he. So great, thank your people for the ingenuity.
Please make yourself more available in India. There are hundreds more just like me out here.

I have a k&n universal filter in my 2001 Suzuki Zen MPFI. It's a previous generation of the Alto here in India. It has a 993cc MPFI engine. After I fitted the k&n filter, the roar of my engine after 3000rpm is so awesome that I don't put on the AC I just rip the engine inside tunnels. Also there is a noticeable improvement in the performance and any lay person can feel it. The fuel economy has also improved by about 1 km/liter if driven conservatively. I had this filter since 2002 but never got the time to comment on this site.
I am really grateful to you for having made such a lovely product. At the time there was no dealer in India so I had to import it through a friend in the US. It's an absolute value for money. Now that Methods online in India has started stocking it many others will get to experience this great experience.
